Evolution of ADRC

The Ministry of Health and Population decided to establish a new specialized dental research center using the latest technologies. The governorate then earmarked the necessary plot of land to build the new center. On the 10th of September 2005, ADRC opened the doors of its new 630 m² state-of- the art facility set in ‘Smouha’ (city center) offering accessible high quality dental care to the public, in the most modern architectural style. Under the administrative management of Dr. Magdy Abou El Abbas, ADRC was officially opened in 17/8/2006 signaling its operation in full capacity, until his pension on the 1st of September 2006 when Dr. Khaled Mansour was appointed director of the center.

Today, ADRC is one of the two dental research centers in Egypt that fall under the central administration of dentistry in the Ministry of Health.

ADRC provides a distinguished and developed medical as well as social service that offers quality and is available in prices that suit people on low incomes in Alexandria and neighboring governorates besides providing free service for poor patients.
